Kristi McInerney (Dreyer) has owned and operated Dance Fusion Performing Arts Studio since 2007.  As a young woman, she had the opportunity to study at the Lehigh Valley Ballet Guild under the instruction of the late Alexi Ramov. Kristi is a 1997 graduate of DeSales University with a Bachelor's Degree in Dance.  Prior to owning Dance Fusion, Kristi acquired 14 years of experience in teaching children and adults of all ages and levels in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern, Lyrical, Creative Movement, and Yoga. She has performed and choreographed for several shows at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom, for the locally televised Greater Ms. Berks County Scholarship Organization, and for the opening ceremonies of the Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia.  Kristi has also choreographed for several local High School Musicals and Lehigh Valley and Berks County area festivals. She was Assistant Director for the Eastern Pennsylvania Ballet Theatre for 6 years where she choreographed and produced several productions of The Nutcracker and quite a few other children's Ballets. Kristi continues to develop her skills as a dancer, choreographer, teacher, and Zumba Fitness Instructor by attending classes, performances, and workshops on a regular basis. She incorporates a positive and fun teaching style, emphasizing self- confidence and performance in her classes.


Denise Binder  received her B.A. in Dance from DeSales University, where she was the recipient of the Jeannie Maxwell award for Excellence in Choreography. She also obtained her M.Ed in elementary education from Kutztown University and was honored to receive the Clinical Experience award for both teaching placements. Denise has been teaching dance throughout the Lehigh Valley for over 15 years. While teaching for the Pennsylvania Youth Theatre, she created the Mosaic Dance Company and served as its director and choreographer. In 2012, Harry Connick Jr. brought his play The Happy Elf to Bethlehem and Denise was one of the choreographers. Her choreography has also been seen at the American College Dance Festival, Brooklyn College Master in Music Concert, Archdiocese Convocation of New York, The World Financial Center New York and for Danceging. Denise continues her dance education by taking classes from great artists such as the late David Howard, Finis Jhung and Bob Rizzo.


Dana Flok  was the former Director of Dynamix Dance Center in Allentown, PA. Miss Dana has been active in the dance industry for over 20 years.  Since completing her BFA in Dance in 1999, Dana has instructed, choreographed, and performed throughout the Lehigh Valley, Berks County, and surrounding areas. With a minor in Theatre, her credits include choreography in several musicals and off-Broadway shows, as well as, working with dance companies in the surrounding area. Dana has acted as the head coach and choreographer for the Lehigh University Dance Team for several years. While under her instruction, the team has represented this area while competing at the National level in Florida, televised on ESPN. She also started the dance program at Emmaus High School where she worked as a dance instructor and choreographed productions. She acted as the Junior Dance Team Coordinator for the Lehigh Valley Outlawz, part of the National Arena Football League. We are so excited to have Dana as part of our team at Dance Fusion!


Brittany Gordon  is a graduate of DeSales University with a B.A. in Dance and TV/Film.  She has been teaching for nearly 10 years in all styles of dance including Acrobatics, Hip-Hop, Breakdancing, Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Tap, Pointe, and Musical Theatre.  Brittany also holds her teaching certification through Dance Masters of America.  She served as President of the DeSales University Dance Team along with being a Dance Class Representative and the Hip-Hop teacher for the Conservatory of Dance.  She has performed in many dance concerts and showcases getting the opportunity to recreate work from Charles Weidman, work with the New Street Dance Group, and Natalie Desch, a former Limon Dance Company and Doug Varone member to name a few.  Other performance experiences include the American College Dance Festival Association in New York, the Philadelphia Fringe Festival, the Dance New Amsterdam College Exchange Program in New York and numerous other performances throughout the New York City, Philadelphia, and several performances in theLehigh Valley area.  Her choreography has been seen throughout the area including the DeSales University Informal Concert and countless dance on camera productions.  Brittany is extremely excited to become a part of the Dance Fusion family and looks forward to sharing her love of dance with the students in a safe, energetic, and upbeat way!



Abigail Hurd began her dance training at Dance Fusion when it opened in 2007. She started with classes in hip-hop, but fell in love with ballet a few years later. She has studied ballet with Laura Hausman, The Pennsylvania Ballet Guild, and Dolly Haltzman Dance Academy. Abby was Captain of the Parkland High School Dance Team, dancer for The University of North Carolina at Charlotte’s Dance Team and is currently on the Kutztown University Dance Team. Some highlights of her performing experience include Lehigh Valley Phantoms, The Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs, and The Philadelphia 76ers. Currently enrolled at Kutztown University, Abby is studying to receive a dual-major in Special Education and Elementary Education. In June of 2017, Abby will complete the acro-dance certification. She continues to further her dance education by attending dance workshops and masterclasses around the Lehigh Valley and in NYC!



Stephanie Morffi is a graduate of Muhlenberg College where she studied Psychology and Neuroscience.  As a young girl she studied ballet, tap and jazz but growing up in a Hispanic American household she always had a passion for Salsa!  Stephanie has experience in many Latin dance styles such as Salsa, Merengue and Bachata.  While in college, she studied abroad in Alicante Spain taking Flamenco and other Latin dance forms.   She has big love for hip hop, teaching our students that dance isn't just about technique, but about having fun and expressing yourself.  She has been teaching Hip Hop and Adult Dance Fitness Classes for Dance Fusion since 2009.  In  2010 Stephanie was certified as a Zumba instructor.  From outside the studio you may hear her yelling, "The more you move it, the more you lose it!"


MaryBeth Kemp Professional ballerina and dance instructor for over 25 years, Ms. MaryBeth's training began in New Jersey at the age of ten. She continued with the New Jersey Dance Theatre Guild under the instruction of E.Laura Hausmann and the New Jersey Ballet Co., under Carolyn Clark, Joseph Carrow and Evee Lynn. MaryBeth performed as a principal dancer with the William Chaison Dance Co. Holding a BS in Biology and a minor in Theatre from Kean University, MaryBeth founded, and operated her own dance studio for 20 years. Her studio succeeded in training dancers of all levels as well as brought the art of dance to the community through a variety of community shows, specialty performances, activities and workshops. She founded and directed The Eastern Pennsylvania Ballet Theatre from 1999-2001. In 2007, MaryBeth served on the founding and structural board for the Charter Arts Middle School in Lehigh County and was also contracted to create and design it's ballet curriculum. She launched the program at Charter Arts in 2009. Currently, she teaches at the Lehigh Valley Charter Arts High School. MaryBeth has published articles on the pedagogy of ballet instruction, teaching philosophies and dance studio business etiquette in the publication Dance Studio Life magazine, for which she writes on a regular basis. She is presently completing her Master’s degree in The Art of Effective Teaching from Wilkes University.


Shawn O'Toole has been teaching Break Dance Classes for all ages and levels at Dance Fusion for the past 9 years.  He has been Break Dancing since he was young, regularly attending battle-style conventions, competitions, and sessions where he learns new material and exchanges styles with many other Break Dance crews.  Currently a member of “Hidden Characters” a breaking crew with 10 years of history and active members all over the U.S, Shawn frequently attends events and battles, and performs locally. Shawn has a great energy when teaching and the students really enjoy his classes.  We are so lucky to have Shawn to share his mad break dance skills with us at the studio.


Patrick Pagella earned his B.S. in nursing from Cedar Crest College with additional M.S. from DeSales University where he completed the Nurse Practitioner Program.  Although formally trained in Family Practice and Wellness, he has extensive experience in Trauma, Orthopedics, Burn and Surgical Critical Care.  Patrick has been actively training in strength and conditioning for 21 years and has trained with several local exercise physiologists, lending to his modern approach to strength and conditioning training.


Kimberly Patterson  was born and raised in Palisades, New York, where she began dancing at the age of 3. She attended DeSales University in Center Valley, PA, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Dance. While in school she was selected to perform “The Shakers” that was re-worked by Ernestine Stodelle, an exponent of Modern Dance founder, Doris Humphrey. Among As a highlight to her career, Kimberly performed at the opening ceremonies of the Olympic Games in Atlanta, GA. She has also choreographed and performed a modern piece for the 60x60 project at the Meadowlands Winter Theatre, New York, NY. During her dance career, Kimberly has taught both adults and children in many styles of dance. She has taught in New York, New Jersey and overseas in Australia where she lived for four years. While in Australia she had the opportunity to choreograph for the Kardinia International College, spring concert. Kimberly has since been living and teaching in the Lehigh Valley for the past seven years. She is committed to furthering her dance education by attending conventions such as the Dance Teacher Summit in NYC along with other classes in Philadelphia and in the Lehigh Valley.


Alexandra Pobiedzinski is an active performer, choreographer and teaching artist. Executive Director of the Lehigh Valley Dance Exchange, she combines her passion for the arts with her marketing and public relations skills to cultivate a professional dance scene in the Lehigh Valley. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and a member of Phi Beta Kappa from Muhlenberg College, where she earned her BA in Dance and Media & Communication. Alex has over 10 years of teaching experience and currently teaches all styles of concert dance at Dance Fusion Performing Arts Studio. Her choreography has been featured at the Philadelphia Fringe Festival and American College Dance Festival, as well as numerous local and regional performances. She is Artistic Director of danceETHOS Performance Company and continues to perform with various companies and choreographers throughout the tri-state area. 


Samuel Antonio Reyes has been a Philadelphia artist for over 18yrs. He has worked and danced with Radio Disney and TV star Raven-Symone, Disney Hollywood Records, Gamble and Huff, Nike, Philadelphia Film and video. He has danced and trained with Rennie Harris Puremovement, Charles Anderson dance theatre X, and Koresh Dance Company, where Sammy currently teaches Hip-Hop. Sammy is a two-time Barrymore Awards Philadelphia theater award of excellence nominee.


Jennifer Traylor is a graduate of Kutztown University with a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Accounting.  She has studied Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Modern, and Hip Hop, for over 17 years and has performed professionally with Fusion Dance Company.  Jen was a member of the Kutztown Area High School Dance Team for 3 years and has come full circle as she is now the current team’s coach!  Jen was certified as a Zumba instructor by Tanya Beardsley, co-host of the Zumba Fitness videos, in New York City, in June of 2009.  She continues to further her training by attending dance classes and  workshops.   Jen is very excited to be part of the Dance Fusion staff as our office manager and instructor and looks forward to each day of sharing her joy of dance with our students.


Sami Wiik has over 11 years of Dance and Musical Theater training.  She is currently attending Kutztown University, studying Early Childhood and Elementary Education.  She is passionate about teaching and her bubbly personality and positive attitude shine through while she greets our families at our desk in the lobby.  Sami also loves teaching KinderDance classes at Dance Fusion!


SueAnn Webb- holds an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Northampton Community College and is also a certified yoga Fit kids instructor.  SueAnn's love of yoga began in 2000 shortly after having her first child. She received her Yoga Fit certification in 2008 and has been teaching at Dance Fusion since 2007.  You will burn calories, relieve stress, build muscle, stamina, strength and endurance in a CoreFit Fusion class!  SueAnn enjoys teaching Yoga & Pilates for everybody and every body!!


Dance Fusion's Aspiring Teacher Program

The aspiring teacher program at Dance Fusion was developed to give current high school students the opportunity to learn how to become a great dance instructor.  We help dedicated students the opportunity to experience the world of dance education and to see if it is a good fit for their future goals.  Students who participate in this program learn organizational skills, classroom management & development, class discipline, choreography composition and other essential elements to becoming a great dance educator.
